Lucas Maraz

I build backend systems for regulated finance.

Backend engineer in Buenos Aires. I work at Roxom, a regulated Bitcoin-native capital markets platform: KYC/KYB and KYT compliance, a BTC-collateralized credit line and electronic invoicing, in TypeScript/Node with gRPC, PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ. Before that, almost three years at CRUCE building e-commerce in Go.

What I do

Compliance and auth: identity and company verification, transaction monitoring, sessions, passkeys and OTP. Money movement: a BTC-collateralized credit line and electronic invoicing accepted by the tax authority. And production from the logs: find the cause, measure the impact, fix it with the smallest change that works, then add the alert that would have caught it.

Stack

TypeScript/Node for the services, gRPC between them, PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ underneath, Go when it fits. Grafana and Loki for production. Kubernetes and GitHub Actions to ship.
